Pics of my first DIY build, a Gyraf SSL4k bus comp clone with ExPat Audio 'Turbo' board. The turbo board converts the compressor to a stereo sidechain as found in the original SSL unit.
The use of a perspex front panel in my naivety put it at risk of EMI/RF due to having no front shielding, but I haven't experienced any interference yet, so I guess I got off lightly! In the future I'm sticking to metal.
